Information Security Engineer
Real estate management company located just outside of Boston seeks an Information Security Engineer to join their security operations team architecting, developing, delivering, and supporting enterprise-level security solutions! This is a great opportunity for an InfoSec Engineer to help a national company define and achieve their security program objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Build, configure, deploy, troubleshoot/support, and document security solutions for multiple environments (cloud, hosted, on-premise)
- Implement and improve the company’s security authentication and log systems, including log aggregation, correlation, and analysis and automated alerting and prioritization
- Monitor and analyze systems for security incidents, investigating, resolving, reporting, and escalating as needed
- Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate tasks to increase operational efficiency
- Design and establish continuous monitoring programs using cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and intrusion detection and management tools
- Identify opportunities to improve the quality and resiliency of the company’s systems and applications
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further security enhancement
- Research and recommend solutions to improve the company’s security posture on premise and in the cloud
- Participate in maintaining company compliance with applicable federal and state laws and industry requirements, including SOX and PCI
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- 4-6+ years of professional information and IT security experience with a passion for cybersecurity
- Proven track record of designing, engineering, and delivering enterprise-level security solutions, both commercial and home-grown
- Excellent vulnerability, intrusion, and incident assessment, remediation, and management skills
- Fluency in scripting or querying languages (e.g., PowerShell, Perl, Python, WMI, VBScript, SQL)
- Detailed working knowledge of security technologies (e.g., AV/EDR, IDS/IPS, NGFW, UTM, FIEM, SIEM, WAF, DLP, HIDS/NIDS, and malware analysis and protection), with a commitment to keep current with the latest developments in this field
- Experience in identity management/authorization and authentication (e.g., SSL, IPSEC, PKI, Kerberos, LDAP)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills driven by a logical, methodical approach
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology and Systems, Information Systems Management, or related
REQUIREMENTS:
- Systems engineering experience
- Security+, GIAC, CISSP, or other IT security certifications

Infrastructure Engineer

A real estate investment and property management firm located just outside of Boston seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to become a core member of their IT Operations & Infrastructure team! This is a great opportunity to help build and maintain a national company’s network infrastructure.
- Manage and administer the network and server environment
- Install, configure, deploy, update, support, and decommission server, networking, and security equipment, devices, and technologies
- Collaborate with MSP to ensure network is monitored and supported to company’s standards 24/7, scheduling off-hours coverage as needed
- Run security scans independently and in collaboration with third-party software vendors and security service providers to regularly assess health and performance and patch/update networking/security equipment and servers
- Recommend, develop, and document processes and scripted solutions that mitigate risk, address vulnerabilities, and automate tasks in order to increase operational efficiency
- Maintain maximum uptime and service availability by monitoring and analyzing network and systems for security incidents, investigating, resolving, reporting, and escalating as needed
- Design and establish continuous monitoring programs using cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and intrusion detection and management tools
- Assist QA/software testing teams in assessing new systems and applications in order to identify opportunities to improve their quality and compatibility with existing technologies
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further enhancement of the server and network environment
- Participate in on-call rotation and work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- 5-7+ years of professional experience in a data center or other critical enterprise environment
- Installation, configuration, administration, and management experience in an enterprise Windows-based environment (>100 servers)
- Experience troubleshooting Windows Server 2012/2012 R2/2016, utilizing a wide range of skills including enterprise monitoring, virtualization administration (VMware), and system administration
- Skilled with Microsoft server technologies, primarily Active Directory, AD FS, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, IIS, Exchange, and SCCM
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routing/switching, IPsec VPN tunnel implementation/configuration, and firewall support
- Solid understanding of OSPF and BGP routing protocols for routed protocols IPv4/IPv6
- Working knowledge of disaster recovery scenarios and planning/prevention/protection, as well as enterprise backup and continuity solutions
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills driven by a logical, methodical approach
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- B.S. Computer Science, Information Technology and Systems, Information Systems Management, or related
REQUIREMENTS:
- Detailed working knowledge of security technologies (e.g., AV/EDR, IDS/IPS, NGFW, UTM, FIEM, SIEM, WAF, DLP, HIDS/NIDS, and malware analysis and protection), with a commitment to keep current with the latest developments in this field
- Fluency in scripting or querying languages (e.g., PowerShell, Perl, Python, WMI, VBScript, SQL)
- Networking and security certifications (e.g. CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, Security+, GIAC, CISSP, CISM)
