The ideal candidate is passionate about PHP and Drupal, with the latest versions under their belt. As part of the innovative technology team, the Web Developer will be transforming ideas into engaging experiences using bleeding-edge web technologies.

  • Contribute to the full-stack, full-lifecycle development of custom Drupal-based websites and other digital properties
  • Build brand-new functionality and modify/extend existing code and applications
  • Lead, execute, and document projects from end-to-end, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team (PM, UI/UX, QA, content marketing, etc.) to draft functional specifications and design innovative digital solutions
  • Work with clients to understand and help shape business requirements
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends
  • 2-4 years of professional web development experience using PHP
  • Working knowledge of popular automated PHP testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Selenium, Codeception, Behat, PHPSpec, SimpleTest, Peridot)
  • Drupal 8 development and configuration experience
  • Experience with Drupal development tools like Git, Drush, and Composer
  • Proven record of solid front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with proven leadership ability
  • Experience with other PHP-based CMS products like WordPress, Joomla, Magento, or SilverStripe
  • Exposure to PHP MVC frameworks (Laravel, Zend, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.)
  • Client-facing experience in an agency environment
  • Centrally located Cambridge-area office, easily accessible by public transit
