ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work in a LINUX environment on the Full Life Cycle of next generation, cutting-edge media products and applications using PHP and MySQL
- Develop custom DRUPAL modules
- Act as a mission-critical member in the development of cutting-edge social networking and media websites and modules
- Communicate technical ideas to business users and other internal business units
- Summary of Technologies to be used: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, DRUPAL, LINUX, APACHE
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of LAMP (Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL) development experience
- 2+ years experience developing PHP/MySQL web applications
- Must have a solid understanding of HTML and CSS
- Prior work experience with DRUPAL or with another open-source CMS
- Results oriented, and maintains the ability to work under deadlines
BONUS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- JAVA development experience
- Knowledge or familiarity with source control systems such as SUBVERSION and GIT
- Knowledge of and/or experience with command-line tools
- Eager to embrace current and emerging web technologies
- Experience in online publishing
- Ability to have fun while programming and enjoy waking up to go to work every day
