Our Story

Established in 2007, Chase Technology Consultants is a privately owned and operated technology staffing and consulting company. Specialized in Permanent, Temp-Perm and Contract placements, we began operations in the heart of the back-bay section of Boston at the elegant 20 Park Plaza building. Company founder and current President, Jared Franklin, started CTC with the vision of building a sustainable recruiting brand that would grow large enough to impact the industry by raising the bar which recruiting firms would be held accountable for in business ethics, communication, honesty, integrity and results.

With a clear vision in place, Franklin made his first strategic management hire when he recruited former colleague and technology placement extraordinaire, Tristan Marchette, in August, 2007. Franklin said of Marchette, “I knew he was my man from day one!” The management pair immediately clicked through a shared passion for success, entrepreneurship and a relentless determination towards fulfilling the corporate vision.

With Marchette on board and a single 6 person team in place, CTC quickly became recognized for serving the industry as both a .NET placement hub as well as a resource for market knowledge and education. Franklin adds, “our specialization within the .NET framework allowed us to spend more time with our candidates and clients, which in turn enabled us a deeper understanding of individual search goals and objectives.” Further, Franklin adds, “this was critical for us to facilitate only a best-fit employment match, ensuring our clients’ investment to be of a long-term nature.

CTC maintained a single niche focus in the .NET developer and engineer market for nearly two years. The opportunity to branch out into a new technology market came to light in early 2009. Marchette recalls, “Our sales staff began to receive daily calls and email inquiries from referrals in the open source development market that were looking for job search assistance.” Consistent with the entrepreneurial spirit the business was founded on, it was not long before CTC opened a second staffing division to again, serve developers and engineers, but within the LAMP and JAVA market. The company hired Bill Sullivan in May of 2009, to join the organization as a Sales Team Manager and to spearhead the new LAMP and JAVA staffing division.

In much the same way the .NET staffing business experienced immediate growth and success, the LAMP and JAVA division has shown phenomenal growth potential and success. Since 2007, Chase Technology Consultants has experienced tremendous quarterly and annual growth and the number of placements continues to climb.  The company has outgrown two office spaces, successfully opened a second niche staffing division and has plans in motion to double the number of internal recruiters employed in the coming year, 2010.
